Aedh wishes for the cloths of heaven

Had I the heavens’ embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

Aedh deseja os tecidos dos céus
Fossem meus os tecidos bordados dos céus,
Ornamentados com luz dourada e prateada,
Os azuis e negros e pálidos tecidos
Da noite, da luz e da meia-luz,
Os estenderia sob os teus pés.
Mas eu, sendo pobre, tenho apenas os meus sonhos.
Eu estendi meus sonhos sob os teus pés
